There has been a dramatic increase in traffic as well as on-water and street crime in the Meydenbauer neighborhood. In MBNA’s view the proposed closing of 100th Ave. as part of the Park Master plan is inconsistent with improving traffic flows and would restrict access to a number of properties. The three new large residential and retail blocks under construction on Main Street will only compound the traffic problems.
The Association is holding a forum which will include a discussion of Park and traffic plans Thursday October 16th at 7 PM at the Meydenbauer Bay Yacht Club, 9927 Meydenbauer Way SE. Speakers include City council member Lynne Robinson, city planners, city traffic engineers, and marine and city police. There will be time for attendee questions and comments. The event is open to the public at no cost.
