If you were able to attend our recent forum in October, you saw that MBNA is keeping a close watch on issues concerning neighborhood residents, park users, and boaters. Phase 1 of the Waterfront Park is now under construction; MBNA is monitoring its design and function, working in partnership with the City Planners and Anchor QEA, the design consultant. We are also supporting both Bellevue Police and the Mercer Island Marine Patrol in their efforts to reduce crime and promote boating safety
One of MBNA major concerns is traffic in the Meydenbauer Bay area. We are strongly opposed to closing 100th Ave. SE, and we continue to communicate our position to City officials every chance we get. We emphasize the need to improve traffic flows and reduce congestion
In our effort to keep 100th Ave. S.E. open, we anticipate that traffic studies and legal advice will be required, and we are making plans accordingly. These efforts will significantly increase our budget. Since its founding seven years ago, MBNA has been supported by donations from concerned citizens.
We ask you to please join us and make a financial contribution to MBNA. MBNA is a 501 (c) 3 entity, and donations are tax deductible. Contributions may be made by Pay Pal at www.mbnabellevue.com/donate or by sending a check to:
