The Meydenbauer Bay Neighbors Assn. held a forum on Oct. 12th with all 8 candidates running for Bellevue City Council this November. Candidates answered questions about the waterfront park, traffic, homelessness , urban growth, and preserving neighborhoods. The forum was well attended by 85 or so Bellevue voters who were able to meet the candidates at the end of the program.
The Meydenbauer Bay Neighbors Association will hold this year’s Candidate Forum on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 7 PM at Overlake Golf and Country Club.
The Bellevue City Council Candidate Forum will be held Thursday October 12th 7-9PM at the Overlake Golf & Country Club in Medina. The Forum is sponsored by the Meydenbauer Bay Neighbors Association.

MBNA has received this update from Scott Vander Hyden, Project Manager for Phase 1 of the new Meydenbauer Bay Beach Park. It’s a brief recap on construction highlights from mid-August to mid-September and what to expect this fall.
First, MBNA will be holding a forum for City Council candidates at 7:00 on October 12, 2017 at the Overlake Golf Club. Please plan on attending.

Phase 1 of the new Meydenbauer Bay Park is proceeding on schedule for completion in the Fall of 2018. The two houses on 99th Ave. have been removed, and grading of the park is underway. The topography of the completed park is beginning to emerge….
The MBNA is again inviting Meydenbauer Bay waterfront owners to participate in the annual milfoil treatment.
Scott VanderHyden, the project manager for Phase 1 of the Meydenbauer Bay Beach Park, has provided a few more details about the park’s construction. These augment the information we distributed in our last email to Meydenbauer Bay Neighbors Association members.
Members of the MBNA Board have walked the site with bidders, met with City Park staff including Patrick Foran, the Park Director, and met several times with the on-site Supervisor of IMCO, the contractor for both the sewer replacement project and Phase 1 of the Meydenbauer Bay Waterfront Park.
