OPEN HOUSE ON MEYDENBAUER PARK –
DECEMBER 3, 2014, 5:30 to 7:30 pm
Please join MBNA at Bellevue City Hall when the City presents its preliminary plans for Phase 1 of the Meydenbauer Beach Park. This workshop represents an important step in the park planning process, an opportunity for all of us to express our views. We’d like to show the City that MBNA supporters have a significant interest in the plans for the park in our neighborhood.
The Park Master Plan requires the City to consult with park neighbors at each stage in the planning process. MBNA negotiated this requirement several years ago as one of the Implementation Principles adopted by the Bellevue City Council.
Attend the Open House, and share your opinions about controversial design features, such as the excessive length of the floating pier, with the City and with us. The MBNA Board will be meeting on Friday after the Open House with the city’s design team, and before then we’d like to hear from you. Send us your thoughts at [email protected].
We need your voice to help us develop a Park we can all be proud of. Thank you for doing your part to help us Protect the Future of the Bay.
