On Saturday November 2, 2024, a sewer line was blocked which caused approximately 9,000 gallons of sewage to enter Meydenbauer Bay (see affected area in the image below). King County Public Health recommends people and pets stay out of the water in the affected area, including Clyde Hill Beach Park and Meydenbauer Beach Park, until Sunday, Nov. 10 at 12 p.m. Signs have been posted in the area, and neighbors have been alerted.
