It has been too long since we at the MBNA updated you on matters around Meydenbauer Bay. The COVID-19 pandemic has put most projects behind, including those that pertain to the City of Bellevue and our communications. We would like to bring you up to date on several important topics.
Single-family waterfront homeowners who live on or have a dock on Meydenbauer Bay are invited to participate in our annual Milfoil Treatment Program.
On Friday Dec. 11, at about 6pm, a pack of at least 3 coyotes were seen trotting down Meydenbauer Way SE outside the Meydenbauer Bay Yacht Club. Further reporting and discussion with neighbors has brought to light more sightings in the neighborhood.
Neighbors – A protest group known as ENDD: SEATTLE OR “EVERY NIGHT A DIRECT DEMONSTRATION” is planning a protest and a very active demonstration in Bellevue Saturday night, October 24, 2020.
Please note there will be a private fireworks display in Meydenbauer Bay at midnight, 31 December. The fireworks will be launched from a barge in the Bay on the Medina side. The display will last approximately six minutes.

The waterfront park is a success and has been popular with residents. There remain a few issues to be addressed as one would anticipate with any new facility.

We have received several reports of theft in the neighborhood over the last few days. Jon Abood, manager of the City Marina, reported that last Sunday night three paddle boards and related gear (paddles, life jackets, etc.) were stolen from the dock itself as well as boats on dock # 3 of the City Marina…
